In obedience to the Commands
of His Excellency Sir Hercules Robinson,
I do myself the honor to transmit to you
for His Excellency's information, a statement of the estimated annual expenditure of
the Hongkong Post Office, a statement of the estimated annual cost of supporting
the Packet Agencies at the several Ports
in China and Japan, the former amounting
to £4,147, and the latter to £926. 13. 4.
